Tutorial: About Us Embed
Introduction
One of the many ways venues like to style up their discord servers is by adding an About Us
embed. This embed is a great way to introduce your venue to new members and provide them
with a brief overview of what your venue is all about
Let's walk through the process of creating a relatively standard About Us embed for your venue.

Prerequisites
First off, ensure that you have FroggeBot installed in your server.
Creating the Embed
To begin, use the /admin embeds command to open the embeds main menu.
Here we can create a new embed, or modify/remove existing ones. For this tutorial, we'll be creating a new embed.
Click on the button, and you'll be prompted whether you want to create a new embed from scratch or use a template. For this tutorial, we'll be creating a new embed from scratch.
Select the Blank Embed option, and you'll be taken to the embed editor.
Tip
If you're looking to create a more complex embed, you can use the Demo Embed option to select a pre-made template and modify it to your liking.
Filling in Main Details
For our venue's About Us embed, we want to include as much information as possible to give new members a good
idea of what our venue is all about. So let's outline the things we want to add, then we can start filling in the details:
Venue Name: The name of our venue.Description: A brief description of our venue.Website/Carrd Link: A link to our venue's website or Carrd page.Discord Invite: A permanent invite link to our venue's discord server.Syncshell Info: Information on how to get paired with our Syncshell.Location: The location of our venue.Hours of Operation: The hours our venue is open.
Great! Now let's start filling in the details one by one.
Venue Name
We'll start by making sure our venue name appears on the embed. To do that, we'll fill in the Title field
with "Learn More About Us".

The Button Changed Color!
You may have noticed that after filling in a field, the button will change from to .
This is by design and indicates that the field has been filled in.
Description
Next, we'll add a brief description of our venue. Fill in the Description field with a short description of your venue.

Accent Color
The Color field is used to set the accent color of the embed. This color is used to highlight the card's left border.
Click the button to change the accent color of the embed. We'll use a
suitably froggy green color for our venue - #4ABC23.
Website/Carrd Link
Now, let's handle our venue's website or Carrd link. It doesn't have to be Carrd specifically, but it's common, so we'll use it for this tutorial.
Click the button to add your website or Carrd link as the underlying link to the embed's title.
Another great location for your venue's URL is in the Footer section, which is discussed below.
Header
The embed's header is typically used to display the author of the message. For our About Us embed, we'll use this
section to display our venue's name and logo.
On the main embed menu, click the button to add this information.
After accessing the header menu, click the button to add our venue's name.
Additionally, let's add our venue's website link to the header as well.

We also want to add our venue's logo to the header. Click the button to add the logo.
Footer
For the footer of our 'About Us' embed, we'll add our venue's webpage link and logo.
